Remembrance Day is a day to remember those that fought to defend our country, our society's values ,our way of life and our freedom.
People who volunteered to defend us against some great evils.
Today is not a day to ponder how politicians and big business have corrupted our society and betrayed those fundamental values and freedoms. Nor is it the time to ponder how a government can declare we are at war, when no army has attacked us or our interests.
Nor is it time to think how declaring days for this and days for that eat away at the significance of this important day.
It's a day to remember those who fought for our country.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
